• आंबा पिकाची काळजी घेताना वाळलेल्या फांद्या तोडून घ्याव्या. पिकाला मर रोग झाल्याचे निदर्शनास आले तर फांद्या निरोगी भागासहित कापून घ्याव्यात व त्यावर बोर्डोपेस्ट लावावी. खोडावरील वाळलेली साल काढावी व त्यावर बोर्डोमिश्रण पेस्ट (१० टक्के) चोळावे.

Mango andCashew

Apply paclobutrazol (cultar/coltar) for regular flowering, fully developed mango trees of 10 years old
and above. Measure average diameter of canopy of the tree and apply cultar @ 3 ml per meter
diameter (e.g. If east-west diameter of the plant is 5 m and North – South diameter is 7 ml then average
will be 6 m. So far 6 x 3 = 18 ml. will be the quantity of cultar. This quantity of paclobutrozol be
mixed in 3 to 5 lits. of water and applied in 25 to 30 holes, 10 to 12 cm deep around the tree basin with
help of kudali or crowbar just inside the manuring ring at uniform distance. Then uniform quantity of
solution be drenched into holes, followed by closing or plugging of holes with soil. Before application
weeds be removed. Paclobutrazol application be avoided during heavy rainy days.
• Weeding should be followed in Mango and Cashew garden with the help of sickle/grass cutting
machine or spray Glyphosate weedicide @ 3-4 ml per lit water for effective control of weeds.
Note : To avoid grazing of animal on weedicide spray in mango and cashew garden.

Coconut,Arecanut

Spraying the FYM pits with 0.2 % Carbaryl for control of adults and grubs of rhinoceros beetle.
• To control red palm weevil affected coconut, fill the holes made by RPW with 10 per cent Carbaryl
dust and sand mixture. Prepare a slanting hole with the help of screw drill about 1 m height from
ground level on tree trunk and pour about 20 ml of 36 % Monocrotophos or 20% Chlorphyriphos with
the help of plastic funnel in the hole and close the hole with the help of cement.
• Apply osety AL 0.3% (30 g/10 lit. water) + Urea Suphala 111 briquettes or Fosety AL 0.3% (30 g/10
lit. water) + Annapurana 76 briquettes per arecanut palm to avoid fungal immature fruit drop in
coconut and Koleroga disease (immature nut drop) in arecanut.
